We really have had a surreal track session. Overperforming, one might say.

This is another reason I love the Olympics. 4x100? What 4x100? Gold in the 400 hurdles. Frick yeah. Makes you forget the failures really quick.

That 4x1 is still a big deal in my eyes, lot of bad voodoo going on there.

I love that we have a high profile T&F royal calling attention to the USATF coaching failures with these relays. It's too bad that our Vollyball royal is the women's coach (who obviously can't speak or like Lewis).

This...two 4x400 golds will help take some of the stink off that dump of a 4x100

This is unacceptable. Serious changes need to be made in how we approach relays before LA28. Anything less than Gold in LA will be unacceptable.

I bet if we look thru the last 3 Olympic track things, we’ve all said the same thing, which is absolutely crazy.

Japan has basically beaten us every year since 2008 so maybe we just still their coach? No idea, but it’s an embarrassment. Thank goodness for the women.

Sha’Carri crying. I’m happy for her, she’s come a long way.

Agree, she seems to be much more likable now.

Mario Garcia Romo of Spain and OAC just posted that he's been injured too, confirmed by an MRI. Is Ritz hitting these guys with a baseball bat?

Someone getting overlooked a bit that intrigues me tomorrow is Bryce Hoppel. I think he can hang with those guys into the last 150 then it’s anyone’s race.

He’s had a great year so far. I think people expected him to get a medal. Then in the last month, people started running insane times in the diamond league, while Hoppel stayed in the US.

I hope he can medal. The three guys I’ve really been cheering for are Rai, Holloway, and Hoppel.

Didn’t see any it live, but why put that kid out there in the 4x400? Certainly put a lot of pressure on the other guys. Jeez

I don’t know that I put him in that first leg but in his defense he earned the spot running well all season and at the trials. Think nerves just got the best of him but now he’s done it and he’ll be a better runner in the future for it.

I don’t think I can watch the men’s again. It pisses me off too much.

As someone who knows nothing about track, it looked to me like Kenny left too early.
