Mondo gets to choose what parts of being an American are most convenient to him. Don't we all wish we could do the same?

For the record, Ryan Crouser and Mondo are both estimated to have roughly the same net worth around 5-10 million based on endorsement and earnings

But no one is saying he denounced his citizenship. I really don't understand the point you were trying to make there.

Now, you're just gaslighting

I don't what that means in this context. You said to keep in mind that mondo didn't denounce his citizenship, something no one was saying to begin with.

Why do you suppose so many track athletes around the world chose to come to America to train?

He’s either a coward or entitled.

He thought he should be given a US Olympic spot rather than qualify like any other athlete in our country.

Allowing his father to be the coach is absolutely the main reason. The questions is, did USA really make the wrong call? I’d say no. We have so many great gold medal athletes. If we let everyone make their dad an official coach it wouldn’t be sustainable.

Asked by Swedish buddy who currently lives in Uppsala(where mondo actually trains at time) about the thought of mondo being as popular as zlatan

Here is my best translation.

quote:

Obviously it is idiotic. But it is interesting to think about why he actually isn’t that popular at all since he is so dominant. I think because 1. People Dont reallly see him as swedish and 2. Pole vault is stupid and not popular. I have never met a pole vaulter in my life

I’ll post his actual response soon

No clue who is supposed to be favored to medal except for Mondo, but the Greek guy looks second best so far, clearing everything easily. Going to be a battle for bronze.
