I went to a conference in Utah 20 years ago and one of the social events was curling at the Olympic training facility. It was really fun and pretty challenging.

Because it is basically a drinking game. Curling clubs exist in the north as an excuse for people to get out of the house in the winter and drink beer with friends. It’s basically the north’s equivalent of winter cornhole

It's an Olympic game that the average person can relate to... there's physical skill and strategy in equal parts.

Is that a game they play in India?

Ive seen several videos of Indian people playing a larger version of that game.

I'm with you brother. I still cannot figure out the scoring to save my life but I have to admit for whatever reason. I'm enjoying watching it one of the funnest sports I think I've ever watched

Yankee cornhole. I could never take it up because I am an electrician at heart and brooms will not fit in our hand. If you know you know!

Crokinole (pictured) originated in Canada.

I believe Carrom originated in India.

Both are played and made/distributed worldwide.

Olympic Curling

It's awesome. The appeal is that you feel like if you wanted to you could do it. Also lots of skill involved. Kind of like watching golf. Very relaxing.

only one team can score per end/round. closest to the middle scores as well as any other stones that are closer than your opponent's closest stone. Pretty simple

We have Derby City Curling here in Louisville and I've signed up for the waitlist for Learning to Curl classes. Might as well.
