People calling the boxer trans and running with it show what’s wrong with everything social media

And it’s not just dumb people. Elon, multiple politicians, etc are doing it

Be against it if you want, but for the love of god just be factually correct every now and then

I am on the Algerian's side here, its quite evident "if he's a dude" he would never prance around Algeria, he would be offed pretty quickly. So, if he's a dude, they are MOCKING the West's WOKE CROWD. They are laughing at them, and at the same time saying ca yo believe these fools are going to give a guy a Gold Medal?

Now, this person might just be a rare hermaphrodite. My mom baby-sit 50 years or so ago for two small kids (1 and 2) and she was shocked when they had both organs. But it happens. So, either they are laughing at our cultural decay, or she/he is a real hermaphrodite, I can not see Algerians putting up with someone like that representing them unless its a real situation, or a joke. Who know..........

I’m totally against this and do not support it, but I did bet him to win gold at +430 on FanDuel Monday morning when it was uncovered it’s a man.

I gotta win bets sometimes, why not bet the man fighting women (it’s now -2500)

Maybe take the cashout offer.

In 2022, Khelif won the African and Mediterranean Championships and reached the final of the World Championships in Istanbul. She was defeated by Ireland's Katie Broadhurst and took silver.

Khelif's first Olympic appearance was at Tokyo 2020 when she was eliminated in the quarterfinal round by another Irish participant, Kellie Harrington

Her relatively modest competitive record (14 fights, nine wins, five losses) does not suggest an overwhelming physical advantage

BTW, there is nothing questionable there, that is a biological male.

Unfortunately, it's not that simple here. This isn't some trans person who decided to put on lipstick and address and start calling themself a woman. This is a person who was born intersex. She has lady parts, but also xy chromosomes, and testerone levels higher than Bio women.

For the record, I don't know what's the correct answer here. Do you let this person with a vagina compete against actual biological men? That certainly doesn't seem fair. But it also doesn't seem fully fair against the other women as well. So, then are we left with basically saying frick intersex people in particular, you can't participate in sports?

Isn't that what the special Olympics are for? Special people?

Funniest result would be the Algerian losing next round and the Italian looking like a whiny hoe

The frick it isn't. Life isn't fair, find something else to do in life. I'm not Olympics caliber, yet I'm not trying to force them to let me compete.

They've suspended the cashout after offering 4x the amount Tuesday. I knew he had lost a few times, I just bet it out of pure genetics I could lose but it was a must bet at that time

The Algerian competed in the last Olympics and didn't medal so I'd say that the Italian is a bit whiny.

IMO yes, especially in combat sports - or you’d need to garner approval to compete against your competitors. Forced competition a la the Olympics, where decision can be fine margins is wrong. My opinion.

Do they have a mind for chess?

You are right it isn’t fair

The hernapphrodite has to live everyday with the fact she is a freak, and the women that have to compete against one 1 out of 100,000,000 times get to feel like it’s unfair

Prolly sucked pretty bad to be the second fastest person in the world all those years Bolt was around

I find it more wrong to point at the person born fricked up and say “it’s unfair the advantage you have”.

To be fair, they banned Oscar Pistorius from track because his prosthetic legs were too efficient. They ruled that the guy with no feet had an unfair advantage in a foot race.

you're actually right. i assumed it was understood at this point, but i do believe this should be noted. i agree with those calling for testing for situations like this. i just think this person looks more like a man.

what would you like us to call him?
Not a trans. It would be just as accurate to call the person a dog or a truck

Intersex or hermaphrodite should be the term. After all we like to use biologically correct terms right?
