Don't think it's surfacing, looks like the ROV is roaming around looking at the particulates moving around down there. At one point it was looking at clump of mud on one of its arms.

God bless you both. I only hope that if I am ever in the same straits I will bear it with even a fraction of your (and your wife's) strength and grace.

BP has one thing to worry about, they do not need to concern themselved with doing inteviews for the media and getting w/ lawyers and PR people to keep updating you

Dear Judge -

I don't want to elaborate, but I found your post inspirational. Not wanting to divulge too much, I posted this on my blog about a week ago.

Life is not a drive through window. God and fate are not vending machines. Tragedies take time and patience to overcome.

God's blessings on you and your wife for strength and grace in days ahead.

From my blog last week:
Three truths held in uneasy tension -- 1) we need oil. 2) it is hard to get. 3) it is especially hard to get at in our hemisphere but the more we get here the less we get there and that makes good economic sense.

And then let sin enter in: profits are increased the faster you get to it. Shortcuts happen. Dominoes fall. And well....paradise is lost. I am not smart enough to know what, why, or when it all happened, but lately it is near all I think about. I watched this and I think I have better understanding: 60 Minutes - Deepwater Horizon (this is a 2 part story). I don't for a minute think that anyone out there dreamed that this could happen. Perfect storms sometimes form, and it is up to the faithful to clean up after them, learn, and rebuild.

So, I am going to pray. And wait. And see. And let man repent. Let humans redeem. And let the earth heal.

Pray for the Gulf and her beautiful people, white sand beaches, awesome wildlife, and ...well just pray.

Thanks for that information TigerFred. Your list probably needs to be posted a few more times today as there def. seems to be alot of bad information floating around.

Judge, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife and the rest of the gulf coast region that this is resolved soon. I am in total agreement with you. It takes a lot of patience and I trust that everyone is handling this in the absolute best way possible. Thanks so much for your valued insight.

Thank you TigerFred.

As I have said before, you, and COTiger, and oilfieldtiger ought to be moderating this discussion.

We should all send you three tuition money for the free education you have been dispensing to the rest of these these last days.

Fred your comment yesterday about the government being a part of the problem and not a part of the solution was spot on the money.....

How is the mud made? Bag and water or any chemicals added in to get the right consistancy?

As I've said previously, I'm just the messenger passing on info I obtain.

But if you want to send dollars I'll be more than happy to accept them.
