It was considerably clearer about 10-15 minutes ago, it appears that the flow of mud increased significantly.

The sediment is going to build up over time. That is just natural as the mud settles out. I don't know this, but my guess is it will get murkier as the mud flow slows. As I see it, this is a good sign. If the mud was flowing at a higher rate, the mud would be blasted upward.

Judge , I agree . I have no expertise here but it appears it is just mud " leaking " now. This would mean the oil is being pushed back down the well and the mud is coming up slower out of the leaks . Mud at slower velcity is heavier than water and is now settling around leaks making a cloud.
Any one with some knowledge care to comment?

Still a lot of volume coming out of the well. Could this be mostly mud?

I dunno, it cleared up for a minute or so and I still saw it gushing out. You just cant see it now because of the cloudiness.

You can barely see through the murk...but I can still make out a vicious flow.

video cleared up and it looks worse to me, youre right about hoping for any good news.

also, not sure how oil companies work but you would think that if it was slowing it down any little bit they would announce it to try to get some positive PR for their company

can anyone tell what they are doing in the cnn multi screen on the left middle camera? it almost looks as iff they are blowing mud off of something using a water or air jet.

Least , Cheer up. I think what you're seeing is just mud being pumped at a very high rate . This means the oil is being pushed back down the well. Mud = good , Oil= bad
