Opportunity.

You nailed it. This is all any of us are entitled to.
It seems to me that many place a high value on material things, much more so now than in previous generations. Many are consumed by their material goods and the chase to purchase the next "new, hip, or trendy" version of said item. In the process we have devalued relationships. As we continue to focus on material goods look at what has happened to our society as a whole, divorce rates rising, more misguided children.
Best Stop in Scott used to have it. Check there and grab some boudin while you're at it.
I prefer Kary's Roux over Savoie's. It's made in Ville Platte and what people from Mamou mostly used.

I've heard a lot of people say La Boca, what is the price point?

I'll say it just like I said it in last week's thread: Judice Inn isn't even the best burger/burger joint on Johnston St

Preach on. The facination people have with Judice Inn boggles my mind.

Being from Mamou and living in Lafayette, I'm just spoiled on good boudin.

I would think a great boudin/specialty meat store would kill it in New Orleans. Does anyone know of failed attempts?

don't know of any failed attempts. Imagine a Best Stop, Don's, or T-Boy's (Mamou) in New Orleans.

He was way hyped tonight

That's what I'm hoping. I'm still a little worried though, as I don't think we learned much about this team tonight, specifically how they handle adversity.
Gauthier has to find some touch on his passes. He missed way too many easy completions to wide open receivers.

Palace Cafe is a great little place.

Went Friday night, service was terribly slow and the entree I had was underwhelming.
Failure to open Morganza would be a major mistake.

Dead Crawfish

Anyone running into a good bit of dead crawfish in their sacks?
ULL isn't going to the WAC. Period.

LA Tech going Independent in football and playing other sports in the Southland would hurt their athletic program more than they realize.

As far as a C-USA invite......don't hold your breath. C-USA is interested in media markets. What does LA Tech have to offer?
I think conference expansion will resurface in time. The Big East sits at 9 football playing members with the addition of TCU. Do they add 3 more members to get to 12 members and add a conference championship game? If they do they will likely pick schools from C-USA and C-USA then has to replace members and will look to the WAC and the Sunbelt for new members.

The other variable may be the Big 12 and whether they are happy at 10 or not. Who will they add? Would they extend an invite to Arkansas?

Time will tell.
The WAC is looking for anyone to accept an offer to join their sinking ship. The schools that brought recognition to the conference are all gone. UTSA and Texas State are upstarts and it will take time for them to be competitive. Adding North Texas and UL-L who are both current FBS programs would give the WAC a bit of credibility. That isn't going to happen though.

The good news for LA Tech is they should be at the top of the new WAC for a while and should get some bowl exposure.
Their is definitely potential here. I see no reason why we aren't battling it out for the Sunbelt Championship every season. I agree we have to stop playing 3 money games a season.
Masson will grow a pair before that happens.
