5 pages in and no one knows the weapon type or shot placement? If you have a .9mm in your pocket do you blast away or worry that you're going to miss or that it won't stop a gorilla?

The kid could have easily drowned by the way the gorilla was dragging him in the water. Sucks for the gorilla but a human life is more important. Parents should be charged with child endangerment.

Are you saying it would be better had the 4 yr old child died as long as the gorilla was OK?

Based on the limited facts we know, I agree.

They should also have to pay at least a portion of the replacement cost of that gorilla.

Absolutely the right decision.

So you're saying it was the right decision to kill the gorilla but not the parents who are too dumb and irresponsible to watch their own damn kid? You're a fricking moron dude good Lord.

How long have you worked for PETA? Only in your little world would a gorilla > child. Let's hope you don't reproduce so the world doesn't have to deal with your gene pool.

Shut up dude. Children are starving and dying all over the world. I doubt you've done one damn thing about it. And guess what? There is still billions of people on this planet.

It's their fault to begin with. If they took care of their kid better, none of this would have happened. Their kid wouldn't have gotten hurt, and the gorilla wouldn't be dead.

The what if game goes both ways.

If the parents had watched the kid, he wouldn't have fallen and the gorilla would still be alive.

If the zoo had built a safer enclosure that wouldn't allow unsupervised children to fall into, the gorilla would still be alive.

Maybe not killing them, but certainly sterilizing them.
