On this GFS run, a line from about Houma to NOLA, then to Slidell definitely take a wallop.

Third hurricane thread and I'm just realizing that above I10 and below I10 have different ideas of what bad weather is.

That being said, I hope it comes in as a TS. Or just smoked mississippi instead.

Yes. But we aren't talking huge shifts. It is more about the timing of the low moving in from the west and the speed of the storm.

ban bet to the end of hurricane season that Delta wouldn't go west of... Vermilion Bay I think it was? Pecan Island?

I called Cat Island Pass landfall for the last storm. Looks like it might be close for this one.

The end of hurricane season is a bit presumptuous. The bet was for the rest of October. I don't know if this season will give up after Halloween or not at this point.
