Is that current? Shingles are still flying off the roof here on the Biloxi beach.

Looks like that area is still getting hit with feeder bands.

Nothing happening in east Hancock/west Harrison.

mine are on 98 - kinda between Semmes and 65. she said it has been rough there - said would not be surprised if they weren't getting 70+ gusts.

I feel like I've been in the eye of a hurricane once before, but I'm not sure.

Did Andrew's eyewall pass over Baton Rouge?

Yup, my whole neighborhood was out having a drink when the back side came screaming in. It was a mad dash back to the house.

Watching Cantore from Biloxi, who in the world would park in the lowest level of a parking garage during a hurricane?

Can somebody much smarter than myself explain why Grand Isle got way less surge than GM and Leeville. Seems like it would all be the same.

Makes sense.

But to be fair the Biloxi storm surge has been insane from all reports.

I’m on West Beach in Gulf Shores. I’m sure your parents aren’t loving this. 40-50 sustained with gust. Electricity out on most of West Beach. Ft Morgan is out past MM 13.
