Yes but people were saying the storm was falling apart completely. Maybe I’m attacking the wrong person. Idk.

Now that you can see the center on radar it looks like it’s still heading pretty dude north. It’s going to have to turn quick to pass to the east of New Orleans.

Remember, in an emergency Homeland Security recommends giving the newborn humans the milk from the dog mother before feeding the dogs if the human mother can't keep up.

The good thing is you can feed all four at once off the dog.

#Zeta now has max winds of 90 mph - the strongest #hurricane this far west (91.7°W) in the Gulf of Mexico this late in the calendar year on record.

Can someone explain this to me?

Only Jeff is skipping it. I think he got buried by 45 feet of snow and ice out west yesterday.

Earlier today Pville had winds projected around 15. Now they are at 31mph from 5-6pm with gusts off 44. All per the NOAA link on page 58.

First hurricane ever in Louisiana where you’ll need a generator to run your heater after the storm.

It’s unusual to have a storm this strong in this part of the Gulf in late October.

Hurricanes don't usually form this late in the season this far west. When they do happen to form, they are usually weak and rarely make landfall as a hurricane.

Short Answer: Zeta is overperforming.

This is why I keep saying these track slides while not significant do change things for folks esp around the coast

Is it just me or does it look like the west side of storm is getting broken down by the shear? Hopefully it can weaken the eye wall which looks strong right now.
