How does he have so much money. Does he have loaded parents or something.

His videos get more views than the Super Bowl. The dude charges millions for paid promotions.

He also has other channels making money like his gaming channel, a hamburger chain, merchandise, candy bars, etc

Oh, and he has dubbed his videos into over 20 languages so that they generate more revenue.

I would be shocked if all together he doesn't generate over $100 million per year in revenue.

How does that work for taxes?

Here's a YouTube short where he addresses taxes and "fricking people over" in a pretty simple way.

He says, "Just sell it."

No tax implications. Hell, he may be able to you this as deductions.

he makes an insane amount. he got offered 1 billion for his channels the other day and turned it down because they are worth between 10-20billion based on the ad revenue.
This isn't exactly accurate.

The reporting is that he is trying to raise $150M at a $1.5B valuation. Mind blowing for sure, but no idea where you got that "fricking nuts" 20B number.

It's based on what he can generate based on ad rates

He also puts the vast majority of money he generates back into the enterprise.

I watched him breakdown a squid games video they made. he sunk about 7million dollars into making that particular video.

Thats how hes grown the viewership, not by skimming profits but by maximizing production value

The simple truth is that Mr. Beast is valuing it himself at $1.5B and attempting to raise money at that valuation.

Away from that, it is all simply incredible. What a time to be alive.

It's literally the entire point.

I love how people say this like it's a bad thing. Without filming it, he doesn't have the money to give away. Why is that so difficult to grasp?

Yes but at least you have something for your money rather than giving it to Uncle Sam.

Lol. Yea. You can claim it right up till when IRS CI comes to arrest you for tax evasion and seizes all of your assets.

Every time I hear about claiming sovereign citizen status, it immediately reminds me of this:

All of his videos I see him giving away shite tons of money, and he can't be making that much money on YouTube to turn a profit if that's his only source of income.

This is what I love about the OT. There are 3 different people telling each other why they are wrong about what they said about taxes and then someone says "he can't be making that much money on YouTube to turn a profit if that's his only source of income".

Let's use CBS for example. They start a new comedy series. It starts in the Fall, there is a new episode each week. It plays through the fall, then for a few months there are no new episodes then new episodes start playing in the Spring and then usually has a new episode every week until May.

It takes money to pay the actors, to build a set, there are the behind the scene workers, etc. Where does the money come from that is used to pay everyone and build a set? Advertising. The commercials during the show pays for it. The amount they can charge for people to advertise depends on the number of people who watches the show.

If I show has 3-4 million viewers that's pretty good. If it is the highest rated show on the network they can charge a lot more so that results in the actors making more, etc.

I am not that familiar with this guy, but I just went look. A video he put out 11 days ago has 53 million views.

So if a network show is doing good by having 3-4 million viewers, how well do you think someone is during with Superbowl rating type numbers?

Do they have proof of that offer? or ad revenue worth?
