No idea about the Youtube app, but you can get adblock though the last time I used adblock it didn't really work for Youtube. Brave has a built-in adblock and I love it. I never have any problems with youtube

I rarely use YouTube outside of computer since I can’t Adblock on other devices

I love to watch youtube videos a lot. Especially, I love to listening songs while working on my Laptop and do my assignment writing LINK . But the problem is there are lots of unexpected ads comes to the browser. This is really irritating.

The ads are one thing, but the algorithm seems like absolute dog shite now. Never recommends anything new or interesting, just assumes the video you watched yesterday is the only thing you want to see in perpetuity

Ad before the video starts, users ad starts one minute in. Hit the fast forward and as soon as you hit play again BAM another YouTube ad. The problem I have paying for premium is I pay for YouTube tv already. Regular YouTube should come with that for 64.99 a month. IMO
