Here is what I said:
I don't know that poster. I only have the information posted here.
How could you know that?

It had nothing to do with the person working those jobs.

Then I'll just say that I hope she's been off her game in this thread.
Lol, if I mistook you for a tard, then mea culpa. A few of these morons have been in a tizzy when I post for quite a while.

were you a "hipster" when you lived in one of those areas?
no, i was/am a working professional.

there's a new supply of people who want to live in a walkable neighborhood with restaurants and bars every single year
same for the area i am referencing. until it wasn’t the popular part of town anymore…..then, well you do the math.

I don’t know anyone who lives there. All my friends are in their 30s or 40s with kids. I think the people who live in these areas are mostly young professionals.

The poster told you the jobs that they have worked and you told them it wasn’t a career, just jobs. How can you say that those jobs weren’t part of their career?

Damn, you must have missed my COVID posts on the PT board. Some really fantastic work that has lead to a few vague threats, including one in a now deleted thread about how I would be the 'first against the wall' in the event of another civil war.

You're missing some information, friend. I don't know how many more times I need to say it for it to stick.

same for me.
and it sounds like you’re describing the once popular area of Houston I once lived. Was incredible walkable area just a decade ago.

Yea I don’t think I’ve seen what someone would describe as hipster in these types of areas in my city. It’s probably like 1/3 tourists, a 1/3 23-28 year old professionals and 1/3 families or older couples meeting for a night out.
I don’t think hipsters are really interested in the vibe these places have.

If you put sidewalks, the area will be infested with tattooed hipsters smoking their devil's lettuce and homeless vagrants doing the heroin. What we really need is another Golden Corral with a parking lot that spans 3 acres

I'm talking about TD overall. It's not the venue, it's the clientele.

People like klark kent and roger have no interest in hanging out or living in cities but goddamn they have some opinions about how cities should be lol.
