Outrage after witnesses said a parent intentionally tripped a player during a youth football game.

The incident happened Saturday during a Brew City League game between the Case Eagles and the Milwaukee Colts in Racine, according to head coach of the Eagles, Channing Schultz.

A league representative told WISN 12 News the parent was banned and the Milwaukee Colts team was fined.

Schultz and Case Eagles parents told WISN 12 News they're angry and want accountability.

The incident was caught on camera by a Case Eagles parent. In the video, shared with WISN 12 News, you can see a 9-year-old player rushing for a touchdown when he is suddenly taken to the ground by an adult.

Police told WISN 12 News on Thursday the man admitted to the act and acknowledged he was wrong. He was cited for disorderly conduct. The Case Eagles said they want accountability on all ends. "He should be banned for life to me," Schultz said. The two teams are now set to play again in two weeks.

"There's fear playing a game like that," Bernal said. "With youth sports, it should be fun. It shouldn't be fearful at all."

Parent really needs to reevaluate their life and every decision they’ve ever made

Tripping a 3rd grader.. come on man.. what do you think is going to happen ?

The other parents are gonna high five you for making a defensive stop?

The only thing I hate more than parents who are over emotional about kids playing sports is local news outlets websites.

If that was my kid that got tripped like that, one of the two of us would be toting an arse whopping.
