Goddamn some of you "GET OUT" drama queens need to shut the frick up. You make it sound like BR is some inhabitable shite hole, pure hyperbole. It's a far from a perfect city trust me I'm aware, but the exaggerating has gotten over the top

yeah he should just up and move there despite as he stated he has a good job and is making good money.

It is. I’ve lived here for 5 years after college and words can’t describe how happy I am to leave this shithole.

It's because that's what is cool to say here and them motherfrickers are a buncha tards. All we need is Billy Madison to tell em to pee their pants and they'll be wettin their britches in their cubicles.

A shite load of engineers live in Baton Rouge and commute to facilities along the river from Zachary to Luling. They make damned fine money(80-150k) coming right out of college to 5 yrs as process engineers and project engineers before moving out to the country/closer to work to start a family, to bigger cities, or internationally for management jobs.

Some people are stupid and think there's no market for young smart folk with good jobs in BR.

I would buy one of these

Especially being single. Great views and a Hottie parade going by all day every day. I renovated one of these for a client and they are very nice.

BR is what you make of it. I'm single with no kids and I enjoy myself for the most part. It's also healthy to get out of time for time to time.

With that being said, I think everyone born in the area should live somewhere else before deciding to return or not.
