No shutdown will ever be long enough, and no measures will ever be strong enough.

I think it's more like it can travel 27ft max, not that it always does.

I'm honestly surprised I haven't gotten it yet.

Based on the cruise ship experiments, we’ve known that it can travel through air vents.

The evaporation of pathogen-laden droplets in complex biological fluids is poorly understood. The degree and rate of evaporation depend strongly on ambient temperature and humidity conditions, but also on the inner dynamics of the turbulent puff cloud coupled with the composition of the liquid exhaled by the patient.

When you sneeze, your droplets can travel 27 feet. They have no idea if the virus can travel 27 feet with the droplets.

Also the entire point of the actual article was simply about healthcare workers needing to wear masks.

Yep, and the only qualification of the source is that she’s studied the dynamics of coughs and sneezes. Throw “MIT Researcher” on there, and she’s an authority on COVID-19.

I'm sorry, who are you?

Edit: Ah, say no more, most of your posting is on the poli-board. That says it all.

We should count ourselves lucky to be in the presence of so many brave individuals who are fearless when it comes to ignoring scientific data and medical recommendations based on no real rationale other than ignorant skepticism.

So being a MIT researcher who researched the dynamics of coughs and sneezes means nothing to you?

Sure you’re on the right board?

If it were that contagious then we have all been exposed to it at this point.

Did you notice what I was commenting on with that?

The problem is, these “experts” can’t seem to get on the same page about any of this. I choose cautious skepticism at this point.
