I have one friend that plays baseball and just signed a $52 million contract and one that plays soccer overseas, dates models, and was an analyst for ESPN during the world cup.
I'd probably take either of their jobs.

After reading this thread, I've been convinced that I need to get into the sales side of my company and/or start my own brewery

Buddy rents out huge cranes and other heavy equipment. He takes calls in the mornings and has his shop dispatcher do all the scheduling and nitty gritty details. Works 3-4 hours a day and constantly takes clients hunting, fishing and various outdoor trips.
Lives in a huge stucco house on a nice golf course, drives a brand new loaded dodge 2500 that company pays for.....super cool guy as well.

My friend's dad gave him a ton of money to do what ever he wanted with, so he started flipping houses and makes tons of money on the west bank

Pharma sales used to be the standard best job in America, but the FDA just crashed the party.

Buddy has it pretty cushy grinding out patent applications, then takes cuts of the multimillion dollar settlements that the litigation dudes in his firm handle. In an awful profession, it's the only job I've ever heard that I somewhat envy.

Johnny Morris, John Paul's father, owns Bass Pro and yes that awesome business was started right here in Springfield, MO.
Have you ever been to Big Cedar Lodge on Table Rock Lake?
It would be nice to realize that at some point you'll more than likely inherit a large chunk of a nearly $5 Billion fortune.

Friend of mine works for KickTV. Gets to travel the world going to major soccer tournaments. Isn't paid the most but has by far the coolest job.

I'd have to go with him. Or my brother, although I'm not sure I'd trade with him.

I would imagine he would trade that job to be in his own semi-succesful act to just make a decent living off of. Being a touring musician for a major act (it's sad to say that, but Miley is def making bank) is pretty good money, pretty cool venues and large crowds to play to and you dont have to load/unload your own shite. Other than that, it's gotta suck to be a pro-musician and not be allowed to do the one thing a musician is supposed to do, be creative. It's gotta especially suck playing shitty teenie-bopper pop songs every night as well.

my brother has a great job that he loves, but it doesn't pay much and never will.
He's an assistant high school band director at the high school he attended as a teen.
The other directors are the ones he had when he was in school and they are close friends (the most senior will be retiring in the next couple years).
His best friend from kindergarden through college also works at the school as a math teacher.
He basically does what he loves, playing drums and teaching music, every day with his best friends and has his summers off. Too bad it's all on a teacher's salary.
