Even though the amphibious campaigns the Marines in the Pacific Theater in WWII is viewed as being the most bloody, brutal, and dangerous of the war, the American military command that suffered the highest casualty rate in Wold War II neither fought in the Pacific or even on the ground.

The 8th Air Force holds the dubious title of having the highest casualty rate of any major American unit in the war. In fact, the 8th Air force had more men killed in the skys over Europe than the entire Marine Corps in the Pacific over the course of the war.

Toto was the studio band for Michael Jackson's Thriller album.

Thriller is basically a Toto Album with MJ as the front man.

You're right. I fricked that up pretty bad. I take it back. Was an honest mistake. I went by some quote somewhere and not from actual LSU source websites.

Joe Biden is older than every president elected since 1992.

Of the five living ex-presidents, he is older than all but one (Carter).

That is indeed 100% correct and accurate...

Nothing does, literally, start with a N and ends with a G

quote:

A lot of people think she was beheaded by her husband Henry VIII but she actually had her head cut off by a Popeye's employee after an altercation over some red beans and rice.
probably because she ordered mashed taters.

TAMU and LSU crap talk aside. LSU and Louisiana’s contribution to WW2 is impressive and far out ways most states and universities.
