We had to go even farther when we built our current house. There are two complete bathrooms off the master and each has its own separate closet. There is a large shower in between but even it has separate plumbing on each end when we both need to take a shower at the same time for the sole purpose of getting clean. Each has a toilet, bidet, vanity and storage so we never have to go into the other side, my wife's side has a tub but I never use it. It is one fo the things that makes life so much more pleasant on a day to day basis.

When I was in the army I shared an office with 4 other officers. No one complained about the toilet seat because we hung it on a nail on the wall. If you needed to take a dump you took the seat off the nail and put it on the terlit. After you completed your business you had to hang back on the nail .
