I grew up down the street from a girl that was cousins with an extremely wealthy Texas oil family.
Our freshmen year in high school she was boning this guy that turned out to be her second cousin. The family is so big with so many messy divorces that no one knew until they bumped into each other at family party.

A guy I used to work with, I know he posts on here, his sister married a guy who later cheated with their Mom. They get a divorce and he marries the mom. So his stepdad used to be his brother in law and for his sister her ex husband is now her step dad. I guess they don’t exchange Christmas gifts anymore.

We had a layover in Baku. Talked for a few hours and she mentioned Arab Emirates had booked her a suite since she was delayed. That perked my ears up, not being a creep, I played it off. When the hints got more direct, I politely said my goodbyes and said it was nice to have seen her since our parents divorced 15 years prior.
The only reason I can think of for the offer is I mentioned I hadn't seen my gf in four months.

My former step father, the guy who primarily raised us, married my younger biological sister many years ago. They had a kid and have since divorced. They both remarried, and my sis has since gotten another divorce.
My former step bro, the son of the same guy, ended up having an affair with my sis's second husband, and that was both of their coming out parties, I guess. Talk about awkward.
Strangest part about the whole thing, to me, is that my biological mom ended up marrying the judge that divorced her from my former step dad, and the judge is a woman...and they ended up gaining custody of my nephew from my sis's first marriage.
I make jokes about it all the time, but I'm just waiting for someone to come down with some aids or something.

My mom's 1st cousin was married to his first wife and had 4 kids. They got a divorce, he ended up remarrying and having 4 more kids with his new wife. One of his kids with the first wife married a girl whose dad was single (I think his wife died or something).
His mother and her dad ended up dating and then marrying. Soon after they got married, her son and his daughter got a divorce.
