That’s almost as bad, but the front seat in the Jag would actually touch the back in a pretty normal position lol

I figured they’d be close if not touching. Someone small like me could have some “legroom” behind the seats.

And if I’m going to buy a Porsche it’ll be a Targa. Although I don’t think those are sub $100k.

I don't think you are getting the car in your pic for under $100k. It looks like it is a Carrera S.

I totally agree with your selection, just saying you're going over $100k.

Try getting someone over age 12 to sit in those back seats for more than 5 minutes. I dare you.

True. The average LC on the road today is around 15 years old - not sure if anything else still in production comes close (4Runner maybe?).

Very different answers if I have to maintain it myself vs. have to pay for maintenance.

I am old enough to have gone through most of the phases here. What's important is that I don't have to climb steps to get into it, that I don't have to bend too many creaking joints to get into it and the interior has dependable gauges, not digital (we've grown to hat digital displays that go dark).

The killer isn’t so much the legroom, it’s that those rear seatbacks are so upright and uncomfortable. My kid was around 13 when I had mine - the first couple times he had to ride in the back it was cool because he was riding in a 911. After that, “we’re taking the Porsche” would elicit nothing but groans of displeasure and protestation.

I'd choose an extended cab 4x4 full sized truck. For maximum capability and practicality in one vehicle. For my own personal preference in a 1/2 ton truck it would be a 2019 Silverado. I don't think they are any higher or lower quality than any other, but I DO know that they are easier to perform general maintenance on than a Dodge, or a Ford, or a Toyota.
