We were hanging in Lee Circle for a parade and it was packed when a NOPD horse got a little spooked, turned and knocked this smallish 15 or so year old girl over.
Her boyfriend reared back and kicked the horse in the chest. He was all fricked up and the horse didn't even flinch. But the swarm of plain clothes and uniformed cops that descended on that little white trash dude was impressive.
This gigantic female lesbian cop had his face on the ground, his arm pulled straight up behind him and her boot on the back of his neck with the quickness. This was probably around 2000. Wish I would have had a camera phone. That video would have gone viral AF

Those horses are bad arse. It also looked like the "gentleman" in the white shirt got tased by one of the cops on horseback. You could see it in the distance, he dropped like a sack of potatoes
