I grew up in the southern end of the Appalachians. I could hide for a week.

I know this is a hypothetical, but what is the motivation for the people looking for me? The average person wouldn’t give two shits unless they got money

Leave cell phone at home where it’ll be easily found. Fill backpack with enough food and water for the week. Drive car to a location near an airport. Use credit card to buy things that would insinuate I am going somewhere cold weather related. Leave car there as a ploy to make folks think I took a flight. Burn all things that I purchased.
Find a railroad track and walk it to an area where I know a junk yard is located.
Find a van/camper that’s beat to shite, but has a decent sleeping area. Exit it after game is over.

On the right track with this one. All about deception and throwing folks off the trail on this one. Use the 24 hours that you aren't being watched and hunted wisely. Set as many false trails as possible. Credit card bills will be your friend...plane tickets to one location, train tickets to another, bus ticket to another, car parked at one of those locations. Stay away from big cities. Too many cameras everywhere with facial recognition for every 3 letter agency. South/central Louisiana definitely seems like an ideal place to hide out in some swamp for a week, as long as you are skilled enough to survive the week.

Park my truck at one of the many boat landings in the Morgan City area, drive boat deep into the atchafalaya basin, find some place to camp out for 7 days. Would be tough to find one boat in all that area. Plenty of game and fish to eat

Weird premise. How motivated is the “whole world” to find you? What’s motivating them?

I would say to spice up the question that whomever finds you, individual, organization, or otherwise, gets the $1 billion.

Almost the same plan as me.

Assume phone and car are tracked.

Pack bag with sleeping bag, 30 packs of ramen, talenti container to cold soak and avoid fire/cooking, water filter, bladder or smart bottles. And several paperback books.

Get $800 out of ATM.

Drive to El Paso barrio.

Buy $100 worth of crack/heroin. Give car and drugs to homeless/addict, pay $500 to drive my car into Juarez. Swap clothes.

Wear homeless clothes, hat, fake beard.

Take bus to Greyhound. $1.

Take Greyhound to LA. $100

When Greyhound stops at McDonalds in Lordsburg for piss and food disappear.

Purchase 2 gallons of water from shitty mexican grocery store with no cameras.

Hop on CDT northbound. Walk 50 miles through remote desert and scrubland to Gila Wilderness.

Hideout in that cavern about 20 feet up the wall 3 miles in.

Eat cold ramen and read books for 5 days.

Profit.

I’d scatter my fleet of gulfstream jets. The one I was on would head to my secret underground layer built deep in the Amazon. I would ditch the jet on auto pilot and parachute down. Easy $
