Or the more rational thinking that there are states in this country with mutual combat laws and a kick or any blow while your mutual combatant is on the ground takes the fight from mutual to criminal. I experienced the difference based on a kick I didnt personally deliver but gladly took the charge. Fortunately it worked out in my case.
Or the high moral ground which in most cases is the case. Most people aren't thinking of the repercussions of a head kick while delivering it. Those that dont deliver generally dont because its set into their fabric as a human.
