It is reported that Louisiana has more alligators than Florida. I have to wonder why we hardly ever see any videos like this.

Myaka State park

My husband and I spent 2 nights in a cabin there last weekend. Great place, but fishing isn't easy with gators everywhere. I suspect we didn't get any bites because they have eaten almost every fish

Just as an FYI, the cabins have a full kitchen and bathroom, so it was a very pleasant trip.

Had a big one that "trapped" itself on an open carport here in Swartz. All he had to do was scoot over ten feet and he could have gotten back to his swamp. But the trooper had to be a "hero" and shot him. Monster had probably been alive since before Swartz existed. dangit.

For maximum entertainment, message Shelby on FB and tell him this monster is all his if he wants it...

Yeah, that would be a waste of time. Trust me Shelby doesn't know how to get on facebook. Yeah I know he has a page but he doesn't monitor it or run it.

This story isn't going to end well. You best get rid of that ultimate predator. Look for someone from South LA to take care of that bad boy.

I'm a little concerned you welcome coyotes too. Those things are worthless and need to be destroyed.,

Not a thing I can do about them. If you think you can shoot enough of them to get rid of them, you’re just kidding yourself. It’s like those guys down there trying to catch all the pythons out of the Everglades. That toothpaste is out of the tube brother.

In south Louisiana gators are just a part of life. My boss is from old Jefferson but moved to Houston in the late 80’s. The man is deathly afraid of alligators. Honestly I’m embarrassed for him. Not only is he an idiot but also a gigantic pussy when it comes to these leather beasts.
My favorite thing to do is bring him around ditches in Houma where I know they hang out at.

LOL.

We live in an area that has them everywhere as well. Hell I see them all around I75 in the small ponds.

There’s a big shop center up on Highway 70 that is right in the middle of town. There are nothing around there but stores and shops. There’s a little small pond beside the CVS and there’s about a 5 foot gator in there that has been in there for months. That dude had to walk a long ways to get there from somewhere else.

Reported by who? I don't believe that. Florida is much bigger and has more wetlands than Louisiana.
