I don't need to change history.
I would go back to when I was 14 right before my mom died and spend 5 minutes with her. Apologize for being such a shitty son and make sure she knew that I loved her before she died. The other 5 minutes I would use to go back and use one at a time and make sure that I didn't try to put her off or was shitty to her when she yelled for me when she needed help.

I don't know if I would go back and try to prevent any major historical event, like the Kennedy assassination, because what if it just made the next 50 years worse?
But on a personal level I'd go back and not argue with my dad the night before he left for his trip which he never came home from.
