My old definition of a motel was a hotel with doors on the outside.
Now it's that with the stipulation it's under 100 a day. . I was staying at Disney moderate resort. They all have the doors on outside. But it was nice and expensive enough to keep trash out.

Switched parks and got a motel suite in Kissimmee. First flag should have been two bedrooms for $45/ night, compared to Disney's $285 for a regular room. (Moderate)

I'll say now the savings isn't worth it. 11:50 and Mexicans are loud as hell outside. A guy dragged his kid through lobby. Another guy blocked ther loading zone, went inside and wanted to fight the the guy who complained to him.

Our room has one working light,(the bulbs just missing) one tv remote had no batteries, two working outlets. Looks like last remodel was during the Carter administration.

Other than that not horrible. I may die tonight because I'm about to go confront these migos. There seems to be seven in one room.

Already booked a new place for tomorrow. Think this is last time I go cheap on a room. Just not worth it.

Hotels.com needs a better rating system this aint no 3.5 star.

If I do not make it, I bequeath my E250 to TulaneLsu so he can get his E350 going.

If it looks like it would be on an episode of Cops, then no, don’t stay there.

When I worked for this terrible blue French company they wouldn’t allow us to book rooms that were on the first floor and had doors that opened to the outside

Unless I was in a particularly poor country of course

I lost fantasy football and spent a night in the Starring Motel. I don’t like talking about it.

Migos complied, I wasnt expecting that. They had three rooms and 13 people total. Actual Mexicans drove in from mexico, have Tamilalupus plates on a Exprdition. Oddly enough they sent happy with hotel either.

Ive gotten great deals off property before out here.
Kissimie is cheap because Disney and universal have cheaper hotels. There are high end places like the Gaylord, but there are places for $25/ night too

Happy mardi Gras and good night.

These are usually the places I stay if I’m on the road and the wife isn’t with me.

Seen a lot of cops, prostitutes and pit bulls but surprisingly no bed bugs yet. Only bed bugs I’ve ever seen were in Europe

The Pines on Airline was in my family. I stayed there a few nights. My uncle always kept a loaded AR by his door.
He would offer me a "clean room " when I stayed. The Alamo hotel was the second worst I ever stayed at.

The worst was a Bates motel type place near Cedar point Ohio. Only seven rooms next to a house, but it was ragged. Holes in walls, evidence of rodents, stain on mattress sheets looked dirty.
I could have survived all that, had it not had a train crossing maybe 15-20 feet behind it. Trains passed often.

I checked out nearly right away.

Are you on 192?

After the hurricane the government moved a lot of people from Puerto Rico to Central Florida and they live in the motels.

It is very strange when you leave the Disney grounds. Parts of 192 are pretty rough. Disney doesn’t pay good so a lot of the bus drivers, cooks, etc. live in the motels as well.

Have stayed in some real shitholes because that is often all that is available in small towns close to jobsites.

As long as there are no bedbugs and the heat/AC works and I have a wireless connection I'm good.
