You people need to speak to a few realtor’s about what this means. Reality is a bitch.
Lol, Suzy big tits the realtor has no clue what will happen with BR property values nor do you.

If someone is really giving the OP a house and he doesn't want it I'll take it. Free house why not? Don't care if it is in BR. I'm sure I could do something with a free house to make me some money.

Look at Birmingham, AL.
The "white flight" townships incorporated because people want/need to work in Birmingham but don't want to live in Birmingham.
A similar situation is happening in Montgomery with Pike Road.
I suspect this will be the same. People will work, but not live, in a dump.

Is Staring Motel considered to be within StG or Baton Rouge?
I think the value of that property will far more than triple, if only because it looks like it is worth $1 right now.

No. BR had the sense to annex this historical property. Firmly inside BR limits.

Do you care to give examples of how you anticipate your life improving in a significant, tangible way?
ETA- im not trying to get into an argument or take some anti st george stance. Genuinely curious.

And they are so dumb they think that is a good thing. If property values did triple, then the cost of living would also, which is a bad thing.
You only benefit from high property values if you sell AND move elsewhere.
