thats dumb. the guy ran into schilling then said something to make schilling turn around and then was in the process of throwing a punch at him. people are being stupid its not like schilling just walked up and knocked the guy out.
What universe is this? Is this like the dress that can be different colors depending on the person looking at the photo?
Schilling shoves the guy while walking past him. "The guy ran into him" is hilarious when the guy is doing exactly what he's been doing, in the same place he's been doing it, and the MMA guy walks up to and through him. In response, the drunk says something which I'm sure is like "what the frick" and Schilling then steps up to him aggressively. At that point I don't give a shite if the guy gestures like he's going to hit him, that's a situation created entirely by the MMA douchebag and he'll get the blame for it most likely.

Earlier in the thread was a post showing this guy being dropped like a stone.
Adds up.
Not surprised.

Your last post about the fighter setting this all up with the camera is fricking insane. The drunk was clearly being obnoxious and stupid for a while, so how is the simplest explanation simply not that a random patron was filming a random a-hole?
That would be the simplest explanation under normal circumstances. Now that I've heard the account of the N words and the aggrieved server who was suffering in silence and all the people who thanked him after for his courage, I no longer believe the "oops I was just scooting by the drunk and one thing led to another" account is the most likely.

Are you high? Tell me the drunk doesn't move back and to the left? Also, that wasn't much of a "shove" by the big dude.

Jesus, man. A guy can concoct any number of excuses to try and save his own arse after the fact. That doesn't mean the whole thing was premeditated up to an including a hidden camera set up. WTF is going on with you?
Why would he want his premeditated assault captured on film anyway? Complete nonsense.

The drunk is doing the exact same shite he's been doing?
The shove is whatever, nobody is ringing him up for it. But it's also no surprise when you push through a guy instead of waiting for his drunk arse to sway back out of your path and the drunk guy says something.

cmon man, schilling was definitely the instigator. he set a booby trap that tripped the guy and then shoved him just so he can plant an easy 1-2 on him to get put in jail and harassed by idiots on social media and forums.

At best, drunk guy says something that causes Schilling to turn and speak to him. The aggressive jump of the drunk, appearing like he’s trying to make Schilling flinch (in fear of being hit) is what prompted the fists. It’s reasonable to argue whether the fists were to much or such; but suggesting drunk guy acting like he’s throwing fists shouldn’t accept responsibility when he catches them in return is idiotic.

Here is my two cents.
1) This drunk guy needed to get a little attitude adjustment. He's obviously doing the little drunk taunt thing to the server as he walks up. I assume that the drunk guy was probably acting like this most of the night.
2) The initial contact didn't seem intentional, but Schilling brushed it off until something caught his attention which made him turn around. Drunk guy flex, drunk guy sleep.
3) Schilling is wearing a shirt that says "Ring, Cage, Parking Lot". Not the type to let something like that go.
4) Self defense is a stupid defense. Not sure if that is going to work out for him.
5) I think both parties are assholes, but as someone who has dealt with the drunk public way too much, the used car salesman deserved it a little more.

dude you are full of excuses. Look I understand you feel bad for the guy getting knocked out, but he def was the root cause of his own demise.

Because it's evidence of his bullshite self-defense claim? As in, "I bet I can get that guy to do something and I can level him. You have to get him making the move though."
Liars lie. I don't really care if I'm right on the concocted video piece, it's not central to my belief about the incident. But the after story kills Schilling's credibility and plays into what I think happened, which is an MMA guy who makes his living hitting people trying to instigate a conflict to allow him to hit a guy who was annoying him.

No, he definitely made a "what bitch" move at him.
That's very different than going for a punch though.

As you can see from this video, when he flexed on me I was scared for my life," Schilling said, "and simply defending myself against the evil in this world.
This part made me laugh. I'm sure he was frightened of a drunk guy half his size.

Right? We get quite a few that talk that kind of game here but rarely follow through

Are we watching the same video because I don’t see this in the op’s link.
But watching the 1st time with no context, I immediately saw what appears to be the little guy feinting a punch.

Did he?
Yeah. Zoom in and watch the fighters head closely. He was pushed from behind.
It doesn’t warrant being knocked out. I’m in agreement that the fighter set this up, rather poorly. He’d been better off letting drunk guy take a free swing. At least he would have a chance in court. The fighter is about to get the book thrown at his stupid arse.

My take has zero to do with the fate of the drunk guy and everything to do with what I think was going on in the mind of the MMA guy. Much like a cop shooting debate, I don't actually care about the "victim". When you get super drunk you get yourself into a lot of dumb shite and that's on you, much like someone running from a cop or not complying, etc.
But, that doesn't preclude this MMA guy from being charged. And his racism story puts it over the top for me such that I hope he is if it's deemed chargeable. I loathe people who lie about stigmatizing shite more than I hate belligerent drunks or mindless MMA thugs.
