Schilling said he then went outside for a smoke, and when he came back, that's when the video picks up.

Didn't realize MMA fighters smoked...

I bet his lung capacity is awesome...

Yes, per the account of the professional fighter in a sport filled with miscreants with aggression problems who is likely under investigation

The fact that he concocted a dumb story involving racism to cover up for the fact that he's a thug lowlife is worse than the knockout IMO. frick him.

Who was recording? A friend of his? This seems like a set up situation where he creates a situation resembling what could be perceived as a threat to allow him to knock out a douchebag.

It does not look like a real self defense situation.

Horrible comparison. This drunk possibly throwing a marshmallow punch at an MMA guy isn't the same as someone using a gun. Both of the people involved in this are morons.

Converted southpaw approach on the walk up, if you aint first you're last. Place your strong hand as your lead and go to work with the angle you just availed yourself of. If dude rolls your compact shot then you switch back to orthodox and may the best man win.

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Schilling was raised by a single mother alongside two other siblings. A troublesome child, Schilling was expelled from four different schools and took up Muay Thai at 15 years old, hoping that it would give him direction and focus. After being kicked out of the family home at 17, he worked odd jobs and began his fighting career in local Toughman Contests while living in a small

This excerpt from his wiki page explains a lot about his character.

MMA guy is bigger than the other guy and is a trained fighter. He knows the other guy is no threat. Even if the other guy throws a punch first, mma guy can take him down and subdue him. Throwing a combo on someone smaller, weaker than you as a reaction to a possible “punch” is an excuse.

If the little guy was Jon Jones, would mma guy threw those punches? I think not.

It's not self defense, but napoleon there fricked around and found out. Ole boy bumped him looks like on purpose and he said something that caught Joe's attention. When Joe turned naopolean flexed and got the 3 piece.

In that case, it would have been a life-threatening situation as he suggested this one was.

Don't down up if you aren't ready to catch hands.

Those MMA guys seem to think they can do no wrong and beat the piss out of anyone they want. This guy may have been obnoxious, but the MMA guy is going to jail for a bit.

Not really, unless getting really drunk and having an MMA fighter shove past you (likely with the intention of getting you to say something about it) is "fricking around"

Maybe you can argue he shouldn’t have hit so hard, but why does training require him to give randoms free shots at his chin and why should he assume light shirt can’t get a lucky shot in that does some damage? We back to all trained people are ninjas and immune from injury?

Not self defense. Assault and battery. Should be charged and prosecuted to the max so in the USA this equals no jail time, probation, and a fine. Had a friend do this to a local in a foreign country. My buddy gave the victim a thousand dollars voluntarily and was still sentenced to 3 years in prison.

USA= softest country in the world. And now we have clown world.

this is the bully in school who would bump into smaller people on purpose hoping they would react so he could beat them in front of his friends.

I would like to know the source of the video. If it came from someone with a connection to Schilling it won't go well for him, especially given the post he made that makes it pretty clear he had been building up to this.
