I know Yeti gets a hard time on this board and it's probably mostly warranted. But last Christmas a family friend got me a Yeti thermos/drink holder. I've used it a lot since then especially for iced water while I'm working during the day. Sometimes I'll happen to leave it overnight and it'll still be near ice cold the next day when I come back in the office. Pretty impressive to me. I looked up the price and it was only about $30 so to me that seems like a pretty quality product for the price. Does the company make any other products that are quality and well priced for what they do?

I don't think anybody denies their quality, the question becomes are the ridiculous prices justified over another similar item with maybe a third of the price?

From what I've seen, that answer is no. Yeti has turned into a status symbol.

I got a Yeti sticker for the car. Everyone rips on me for putting it on there. But the fact is, car cools off so much faster in the summer now. And it hasn't once been attacked by a bear.

I laughed at friends that paid $30 for a can cozy, a Colster I think they call it. I was sitting at the lake in 90+ temps finishing up warm beer while there's were all still frosty cold. I ponied up the cash and I'll be damn it is awesome when you are out in the summer heat your last drink is as cold as your 1st.

I also have the $10 Thermos brand and it is pretty legit too, but the Yeti is much better quality.

That all being said I'm probably never buying another Yeti product. They were the only game for awhile but now there are so many quality knockoffs there is no reason to pay Yeti, Orca, K2, etc prices. Ozark Trail and Igloo both have decent stuff at 1/2 the price.

I have this cooler from Walmart and it works just as well as a Yeti. It was around $75. I'm sure the Yeti version is $350

I have a Yeti 20 oz. tumbler that I use pretty much every day for hot/cold beverages.

Would a cheaper brand do the same thing? Almost certainly, but it's a quality product and at least it's not as overpriced as the ice chests or the infamous Yeti bucket.

Found one after the 2016 flood with a beer bottle still in it. I use it all the time.

I was given an RTIC cooler at work, and I'm not impressed. Not saying the Yeti would be any better. It's just a cooler. They say the way to use it is to put it in the freezer first, but shite. With the size of this thing, you'd need a walk in freezer at a restaurant.

You are drinking too slow if your beer is warm in a koozie.

N/A, because they're all a ripoff.

Sure many of their products are extremely high quality and do exactly what they intend and say they will, but they are wildly overpriced. You can find products that do the exact same thing for a fraction of the cost. Therefore, they're all ripoffs.

Yeti should skip the stickers and provide lube for the raping you get.
