We should also cap what movie stars can make. We should cap what musicians make.

What do you do? We should cap that too. You seem like you have too much money, we should take some of it.

What makes CEOs so evil while others get a total pass?

Where is the outrage that Taylor Swift pulled in over $75mm last year?

You make a good point. I can't really explain why musicians and artists don't bother me (except for Kanye West, he's such a prick) while CEO's generally do.

You know people say I'm paranoid though it is really just being very very cautious about potentially heinous technology.

I hate my laptop and rarely use it. It does too many weird things. My Dad says that it is because I imagine something is wrong then screw up the laptop (or phone) when I try to fix it myself by deleting files and apps. But, I guarantee you someone is always jacking with my laptop and phone.

You need to promise not to share my email or anything else. I figure since you are the most senior person postwise that you can be trusted.

Also, are you a lawyer?

Although, our starting salary isn't 48k.

Y'all need to work on that. I remember Louisiana salaries being surprisingly low when I was on the interview trail.

I probably wouldn't write any open letters about it though.

make a reasonable profit, but not on the backs of underpaid workers. Don't exploit.

I have nothing against profit. Zero. I have stock in companies that make profits but they pay their workers well. Look at Berkshire Hathaway - it invests in companies like the BNSF Railroad and Heinz - both companies that pay their employees well.

Raise wages then, price of living increases, they still rt where they were. Broke and entitled with their hand out.

Here is the other route, raise wages, business closes, your out of a job.

You don't seem like you'd be a lawyer. I initially figured Scruffy was a lawyer.

I dated a lawyer once, briefly He said he was a skilled horseback rider (and I didn't care if he was a novice or skilled) so we went out riding. We went to my friend's place and put him on the biggest plug she had and he fell off five minutes later.

He also was asking a lot of questions.

I have nothing against lawyers, just know I'll have to be more cautious in dealing with you

No, not a lawyer.

I am a dick, so I do have that in common with lawyers.

I'm actually somewhat of a misanthrope.

You just don't act very tricky

I'm about to head out for lunch, but I'll send an email.

look this is going to sound arrogant, but you don't have to be tricky if you're smarter than people you're talking to and you're right

and all of my "lawyer-like" personality was displayed publicly on here long before i ever thought of going to law school
