I think it's partially why I went into peds. I can't hate the kids for their problems. I can hate their parents though.

Why not path, rads or anes? You do seem too socially adjusted for path though. Figured when you said you're a dick you were a surgeon of some type, that way you don't spend much time in clinic, and most of your work has patients asleep.

When I started, base intern year was $30k. $47k chief year. Been out 3.5 years, but about to go back for a fellowship, so will take a huge pay cut. I'm actually on the way for an interview now.

She was making around $15 an hour. She made poor decisions on how to allocate that money. She could make $100,000 and she would still make poor decisions and be broke.
