Year 5 of living hours and hours away from family, so year 5 of just me and my wife.
Made chicken, dressing, potatoes, bacon chicken rolls, cookies. Should last us the next few days.
I think this is the first year I'm realizing that unless we have kids and start our own family, it may always be just us on Thanksgiving. It's fantastic.

Watching the Lions/Bill's play. frick the NFL but to stir the pot I said go Lions.
GF's mom is a huge Bill's fan and she kicked me out the house. Worth it bc her methed out sister brought month old expired chicken for me to cook for her bc my turkey wasn't good enough I guess. Worth not having to deal with that.

Not PBP, but summary- By myself, which is alright, better than in-law crap. Cooked for first time and it was ham, chicken breast, stuffing and chicken/egg gravy(best part too), will save pecan pie for tonight.
Had a cat nap already. Having a cocktail first time in 3 weeks+. Gonna get moving then have a 2nd workout, eat early so I can have room for some Pea-CON pie.
Will have to freeze about 2/3 of the ham, save that for Christmas.
