Breastfeeding is a cheat code for women to lose weight after giving birth. It burns an extra 400+ calories a day. My wife was back to her pre-pregnancy weight in 2-3 months with all 3 of our kids.
She probably doesn’t have a terrible diet like most people.

I consider myself more like rhino after the kids. Big, scaly skin but can still run fast when necessary

I’m the wife and no.. it wasn’t easy to go back to normal. Pregnancy made me feel like a starved deprived person eating for 3 ppl. I gained probably 50-60 lbs. Then my fun athletic lifestyle was gone and I had to be a mom to 2. It was hard or nearly impossible to return to the habits that burned calories. But tons of work and a little help from the medical community over several years paid off. After I returned to my appropriate weight (about 105-110) and maintained for a several years I went to the plastic surgeon and permanently repaired the damage pregnancy did. I’ve been fit and trim with a good build for 7 years. There would not be an industry for mommy makeovers if it was not significantly helpful. It helped me to gain back my confidence which worked in my marriage. My husband would have me walk around naked all day if I would comply.

Nah not really. Depression meds helped her some but she still mean to me.

You aren’t fit to be a father if you expected anything in any facet of life to be the same after pregnancy.

I think most of this thread is proving men have a different ideal of women's bodies than women do. And a lot of it just has to do with women being comfortable with themselves (at least for me.)
I do love your description of how your husband feels about you. Good for you both.

That would be a big frickin' negative. That's why she is my ex now.

Same for my wife as well. I don’t understand why women refuse to breastfeed.

Looks, yes. The level of craziness definitely increases. This goes for every single women.
As kids, we were all razed by a women our fathers didn't fall in love with, rather a women he learned to love.

Normal is a sliding scale

Some turn into captain insano for a year or two after the birth, but most recover physically pretty quickly

Mine got pretty shredded after the 2nd. She did a couple rounds of Insanity.

Wonderfully, yes. We’ve both managed to stay pretty fit and active for many reasons, of which appearance is only one. Health and general activity and energy level is right up there. But I loved her just as much during the baby weight phase.

No, it's not. Some of us chose wisely
