Tricking idiots with faux exclusivity.

is it still thriving like it was 20 years ago?
Amanda Scott’s, Stan’s, Antlers, Roothogs, Club 410, Jefferson St pub were all great places and always busy.
Ehhh. It’s ok but not what it used to be
None of those places are still around

I met the owners during Mardi Gras a few weeks ago. Good people.
I hope it does well, and I think it can
Most importantly though, is that Legacy is gone.

More like 100 years. They were never cool after actually being necessary.

Speaking of… isn’t the run down “Beer Garden” on Hwy 182 in Broussard area this type of thing. Always packed at odd times with no signs… also the vacant adult video store on Hwy 90 in Broussard always has high end cars there as well at odd times.
Been meaning to post this but never got around to it

What speakeasy?
Seriously? Its a place where you can't be seen and not just anyone can go into so you can "speak easy" without having unknown people overhearing.

Fa sho

Have bought a few of a certain family member's paintings as well, currently still hanging in our foyer (subtle foyer brag) and in our living room.

The speaking may be easy in Lafayette but the understanding isn't.

If you’re doing advertising, and people are talking about it on the internet… its not a real speakeasy.
Hey everyone, come to my secret bar!
The whole idea is cringe af.
