Yes. Usually get it a day or so later, but sometimes not.

they scanned it “delivered” but didn’t deliver the package and delivered it next day or at the end of their route

USPS does this all the time and it can be for a number of reasons. Sometimes it’s because the mail carrier just wants to frick off all day and go do other shite who the just mark it delivered and then deliver the next day. Sometimes it’s not there to be loaded onto the delivery truck when it leaves in the morning so it will get scanned as “delivered” late in the day so that it still falls within their metrics of “on time delivery.”

Not reading all the responses to know that the OP is dealing with Fedex or USPS.

I’m waiting on one now that’s been “out for delivery” since 12/31

USPS one time told me I had a package (I was home waiting for) delivered.

It wasn’t delivered.

It wasn’t delivered the next day.

I got sent around to several USPS locations with no answers or explanations.

Called the company I bought from and they sent another that was sent FedEx or ups and was delivered.

USPS showed a Christmas gift made it to the local post office and was out for delivery -- for several days. I went to the Post Office and the desk workers looked for it, but could not find it. It never showed up, nor was there any notice that it had been delivered -- at my house at least. I got a refund and I guess someone got the gift.

And, it looks like they have done it again. I'm beginning to wonder if our local Post Office is a den of thieves.

Onetime I bought a laserdisc from Ken Cranes that showed as delivered but did not show.
The next day an individual personally delivered it.

Star Wars 2 disc set with side 4 being CAV.

No, but I had one on my doorstep that belonged to someone a half block away. A couple of numbers were reversed.

I delivered it to the proper doorstep and no one knew.

Fedex is the worse of them. I even had a tool cabinet stolen by the Fedex driver. It showed as delivered to his address 30 miles away from my address. Luckily Sam's Club took care of me with another one.

Had an Amazon package delivered around first week of December that was not what I ordered, had shipping label with my name/address on one side and name/address of a different person on the other side. Did a return and received the correct item a couple days later, and then they delivered the correct item again...so I have now received the wrong item and the correct item twice.

My place in the mountains actually doesn't have a mailbox or a community area where you can get the mail. Its really weird. USPS just refuses to serve the area. And its not as if i live in a cabin inna woods. Neighbor up the street has his house listed for about what Brian Kelly's is listed for and its not near as nice.

UPS, no trouble. Fedex also not bad. USPS package delivery? Have easily lost $1000 worth of shite (all refunded so whatever) because the company im using uses USPS despite me telling them in the order not to; its madness.

Never heard of your situation.

Do you live under a rock? I have this happen at least 3 or 4 times a year.

FedEx was the most recent culprit. Apparently, the driver just managed to scan my package about 2 hours before he delivered it. Had a picture, too, but it was pitch black. Couldn't tell what it was supposed to show.

Possibly.

But I’ve been to the post office, and I am guessing it’s incompetence. From what I can tell it’s mostly an adult daycare/UBI distribution program.

But the delivery picture wasn't to either of our porches. I suggested they compare it to the other pictures, and that's all it took for a replacement to be shipped.

FedEx did it with some bulbs I had ordered. It was the same day we had a ceiling fan delivered. They claimed they dropped off both at the same time but the screen shot from our camera showed they clearly only delivered the fan.

Of course FedEx tried to punt back to the company I ordered from and refused to talk to me about it (the company had to file the claim they said).
