perhaps match it to a discarded slurpee cup somewhere within 5 miles of the US capital on J6 to use to bust your door down and throw you in jail for 4 years without bringing charges?

just that.

My wife did somewhat. She has a very Irish name, her dads parents immigrated from County Cork, her moms dad also immigrated from Ireland. But the 23 and me showed she was more english than anything. She was disappointed but I told her at least it was english and not scot.

My Mom's side is Italian. Dad is Scot / Blackfoot Indian.

Turn's out my Mom's side is in fact Italian but also with some Egyptian and Levant too. My Dad's side is in fact Scot but also Irish and British and absolutely no Blackfoot Indian.

I'm not sure where it came from but there is also a little bit of French and German.

54.7 % Italian.
40% Brit (Scot) / Irish
2.6% French / German
2.0 Egyptian
.7 Levantine

Wait a few years and these DNA tests are going to show some people that they were misgendered by lunatic parents.

I haven’t personally, but do remember the Canadian reporter that submitted her own DNA last year to a company that tests pet DNA. She was told she is 40% Alaskan Malamute.

I lived in BR all my life and he was in NO. I've posted it before, but it was a one night stand situation. My mom was enjoying life and he was a sleazy sweet talking married guy (which she didn't know at the time).

I talked with him in Dec 2020 (when I was 42), got official DNA test to confirm in Mar 2021, and he passed away in July 2021. Picked up 6 aunts/uncles, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and am 1 of 21 cousins. Talk to a lot of them regularly and will be down there this coming March while my kids are on Spring Break (we live in Tx).

Yes, went to NE India for 19ish days and came back as 00.02% as NE Indian. Turns out that pollution can alter your DNA.

I really, really want to do this, but I also refuse to let other people have my DNA catalogued somewhere. I'm not going to snitch on my future grandchildren for a crime or be part of some ethnic cleanse in a future culture war.

A man I know who took a test at 81 years old found out his neighbor growing up was his real father.

Even if you don't give them your DNA, if multiple blood relatives of yours have done it, they essentially have your blueprint already. Both of my parents did it. I haven't. But if I left some DNA at the scene of a crime, they'd still be able to pin me down pretty damn quick.

What are they going to do with my DNA? Engineer a disease that only affects those who did an Ancestry kit? Clone me and replace me in the middle of the night with someone slightly more pro-government?
