Got a job at IBM so the OT's favorite wanker is moving to the Red Stick! What are the gentrification hotspots so I can scoop me up a nice little piece of property before prices get OOC. I'm westbank born-and-raised so I can handle a little trash.

Gentrification is done with.
St George will accelerate flight from BR city limits.

Anything north of Florida and west of airline and you’ll be golden. The I-110 corridor would get you close to downtown.

Quaint little family oriented neighborhood called Gardere.

Buy a place in Southdowns / 70808 area. Try not to Best Bank the place up too much. No cars in the yard or inside furniture on the porch.

I know the secrets of that area. I've lived there for some time quite happily.

Living downtown would be pretty convenient if you don't have kids/schools to worry about. The MidCity area and south of LSU along Burbank would also be a relatively easy commute to downtown.

You serious Clark? That's not the safest place to be

If you’re serious, the edgy gentrification hot spots are south of downtown along Nicholson drive and south of government west of Park. Those areas are slowly being gentrified to try and connect downtown with LSU and the affluent garden district, overpass, and capital heights neighborhoods

Try the Broadmoor/Sherwood Forest area. You can find some older houses for a good price that might need a little updating and it is an easy drive down Florida Blvd to work in the morning.

Any of the streets just north of campus named after former presidents. Its a really up and coming area.

Dead serious. My junior year at LSU. It's where I got my rhythm. It wasn't that bad.
