shite, does Vince even have a TV deal yet?
No but Fox did just pay $2 billion for Smackdown and they want to cross promote with their other sports properties. I wouldn't be surprised if FS1 makes a bid for the XFL.

If the XFL champ and AAF champ play for a title, it would be the tits.
Yeah I totally forgot about the AAF until that mention. Ha. Just looked them up. I find it interesting the are staying in the southern half of the country, but keep trying to include the CFL as if it's a major player people know or care about. Especially in the market they are focusing on. Some of their rules seem meh too. Ie...only 2 pt conversations? I mean the option of an extra pt and 2pt conversation is a positive. Nfl made a good call with pushing it back. ~30% miss rate is a nice amount.
No kickoffs, so on-side kicks are trying to get a 10yd play from the 35?? That probability is way higher than a successful on side kick. definitely not a good alternative.
Just weird..."feel good" changes.
But yeah these 2 need to work together more than compete. AFL/NFL style. Grow, and merge eventually when people want to retire/cash out. Don't make yourself a clown show fighting each other.

Appeal to Hispanics which I don’t think the NFL does a good job of.

Dallas is 100% getting one.

I would do
Four Divisions to start 4 teams each division. No conferences.
Southeast
Orlando
Mobile
Richmond
Charlestown
Southwest
St Louis
San Antonio/Austin
San Diego
Alberquerque
Northeast
Queens (would play in Queens not NJ)
Columbus
Toronto
Newark
Northwest
Oakland
Boise
Milwalkee
Oklahoma City
Giving regions without pro football, JV-pro football.

I view that as more them not wanting to use a roster spot and money on kickers.

XFL is fricked, because Vince is a dumb arse.
He should of tried to strike a deal with NFL, to be a farm type league for players who need work, and he could of got that Network contract.
Network Contract means $$$ and that games will be easily available, and more viewers.

I could see Lafayette being an XFL type of town

XFL was an awful product. It was bad football and worse entertainment. The only thing it gave us was unconventional camera angles that were adopted in all current football coverage. Other than that, I want it to fail.

Anytime someone tries a new business venture, I wish them the best of luck, but I just don't see this being successful a second time around.

Who will be the head coaches for these teams? Washed up nfl coaches or up and comers?
I think Jeff Fisher should Coach the St. Louis team!
