100%
That is the perfect vehicle to navigate the giant pothole that is Louisiana roads.

They get that into the US for under $15k and they’ll sell millions of them.
Impossible.
It has to have 35 airbags, seatbelt sensors in every seat and armrest, particulate filters and regens and turbos and auto braking and backup cameras and everything else the federal government has declared that is required to keep you safe and breathing free air.

Why can’t we have this is in the US?
You can thank the CAFE standards that were created for fuel efficiency purposes, and like most ideas by the government they have the complete opposite result.

Can you not buy that abroad and ship it to the USA?

When a side by side is $20k plus, the Toyota Champ would dominate the Agriculture and hunting crowds. Even if it cost $15k-$17k to get it over here you would have a dependable truck with ac/heat for less than a side by side with no ac/heat.

There's a very specific reason why affordable light pickups such as the Toyota Hilux aren't sold in the US but I suspect the vast majority of posters here would not like and/or accept the answer.

How much for the African war lord package option with the bed mounted machine gun? That’s what I need for hog population control.

Burning high Sulphur diesel, which is vastly cheaper to produce than ULSD

Saw it and yes I’d buy one today.

No thanks on a diesel truck. Don't need diesel for my purposes.

The proper question is “would you buy it”
Posted on 2/8/25 at 2:54 pm to WildcatMike
$20,000 dealers fee incoming.

The reason it is so cheap is because it doesn't meet safety standards.
