WWYD, Neighbor Takes Your Wife To Emergency Room

So my neighbors are German national husband and Thai wife. We’ve spoken to each other maybe 4 times in the 7 years they have lived there. She appears at my front door and says she needs to go to the emergency room. Husband is not picking up his phone and not due home for an hour. She barely speaks English.
I ask for his phone number so I can text him. No number in her phone for him just WiFi calling. She doesn’t drive, only him. The numbers and emails in the neighborhood directory come back as not valid. I took her to emergency room. Get back. He pulls up and I run to tell him as his garage is closing. He sips out of his tumbler and says “maybe I should go to the hospital”. That’s it. Then he walks back inside. I had to go but he didn’t leave for the 10 minutes I looked.

Marriage is obviously on the rocks but if theres a true medical emergency for the person then maybe its shitty to frick around with them because you're confused. If you've talked to them that little over the years then theres obviously a damn good reason she felt the need to knock on your door.
Why couldnt she call 911? What was the medical issue?

She couldn’t breath. When I got to emergency room they said she had an extreme heart rate. Her phone only had WiFi calling. No cell.

The Germans are a pragmatic people. He knows he can replace that Thai wife. He’s just working out the numbers to see what’s most cost effective.

If you took her to the hospital and informed the husband, seems like your obligation is complete. I would go right back to minding my own business like a good neighbor.

What was the emergency though? If it was something urgent and your first response was "oh where is your husband, why cant he take you? Let me text him so he can come get you", then you're being pretty shitty.
As I said, you know who this person is, and its rare you speak to them, so they needed a strong reason to knock on your door.
As for what I would do? Id take care of the medical stuff first and not think twice, because thats what Id hope a neighbor would do for me. Then Id worry about why her husband isnt around to take her.
