So I have been reading a lot of stuff lately and watched Schindlers list. With as many people that were stuffed into concentration camps and the ghettos (knowing they were being sent to their death) not start all out assaults on the what seems like not a ton of guards to take down. I guess it just has me wondering if they felt like a beaten people and could not fight back. Just curious if any of you have read more into this.

I know they didn't have guns but create a riot mentality or something. I guess it just baffles me if you knew your were probably going to die to not fight.

I am guessing the sniper nest with machine guns had a big voice.

There were ghetto uprisings. As for the camps, they were more militarized than you think they were.

Herd mentality.. Many felt they were simply being put to work as free/slave labor and didn't want to believe they were actually being slaughtered.. The mind suspended what was right in front of them because the reality was to much to face and unbelievable to comprehend:.

Thanks TROLA that was a good way to explain it. I suppose the mob mentality was maybe it won't be me if I just keep my head down and work. Thanks for the input.
