Been quarantined since Friday due to close exposure, go take a rapid test and they tell me results in 24hrs.

Anyone done the rapid test at Walgreens? Does it really take 24hrs?

I know someone who got rapid test from Walgreens last week, they told him 24 hrs, and then he got the results like 30 mins later.

I am in Houston for work, been hold up at the apartment. Heading home today and do not want to bring it back to the family. Especially since we are in between houses and at the in-laws right now.

I'm honestly getting tested after work. I've been trying to catch this fricking disease for 18 months and I think I finally got it.

I'm going to get so much yard work done if so

Started feeling bad last night after workout. Got tested at my hospitals urgent care this morning. It took about 15 mins to say I was positive. I doubt it takes more than a few hours.

I thought the quick tests were bogus.

I went to an urgent care place a couple of weeks ago and got a rapid test done and they gave me the results in 15 minutes.

Which test did the CDC just say isn't reliable anymore?

Not completely. I believe they give more false negatives than positives due to user error. I definitely feel like I have a legit head cold and a little achy so hospital won’t let me work anyway for 10 days.

The report I heard discussed from CDC was the test can’t distinguish between Covid, the flu, pneumonia, or other respiratory ailments. It flags them all as Covid.

Which one did you get? The nose or the butt? The butt is a whole lot faster.

You'd probably get better responses if you post this on the Covid/Vaccine Board(tm).

There are two types of rapid test and depending on the lab it can take longer
