Are you talking about the construction at the state line? Because I agree, but it's a good 8 miles from Shreveport city limits.

It's been "Under Construction" for 30 years, they are still waiting on that first Casino deposit.

It's been closed to one lane in each directions since November. When I went through there last month, I checked it - the actual part of the lane that is torn up is 1.1 miles. If you can't replace 1.1 miles of fricking road on seven months, then don't even bother repairing it.

One time, I drove from Thibodaux to Laffy then Laffy to Shreveport then Shreveport to Dallas then Dallas to Amirillo.

The stretch of I20 from the Texas line going through Bossier City both eastbound and westbound is the worst stretch of road in the nation. I don’t think it’s been worked on at all since it was built in the 60s. It’s like you’re driving over a dirt bike track.

Absolutely. Problem is LA DOTD has proposed plans to fix it, but the feds won’t approve due to the traffic issues it would cause.

Meanwhile they just resurfaced the 9 miles from LA Downs through past the Haughton exit in less than 3 months and all at night. I don’t see why they can’t do that for the in town road.

That’s nice and all but I swear this section gets re-paved every 2 years it seems. Time to fix from Louisiana Downs to the river.

I’ve never seen this many Shreveport threads on the front page of the OT.

That’s what I’m saying. If they can do that stretch all at night with dump trucks lined up for miles each night, then they can do from the track to the river. They also need to do the westbound entrance ramp from Airline Dr. I swear it’s a miracle more people have not flown over the hill to their deaths

They were working on it last summer and now this summer it is still a traffic mess.

No lie on NTTA getting shite done with a quickness. SRT is going to be 4 lanes from DNT to US75 in less than a year.

From downtown to Hwy 80/LA Downs is teeth-jarring. East of Hwy 80 and west of Pines Rd is much better.
