I must be the only person on Earth to think this thing was massively overrated, especially in comparison to the CFA sandwich.

They’ll probably screw up the bun and use a smaller chicken breast.

It was a good sandwich, huge piece of chicken but I agree on the spicy part.
I prefer the chicken itself to be spicy not some damn sauce.

I don't know why I find it so odd there is such a disparity of opinion on the Popeye's vs CFA sandwich. People disagree on everything especially food. That said while I do enjoy a CFA sandwich the Popeye's sandwich was simply in a different class to my tastebuds. Plus, the amount of chicken you got simply made the CFA sandwich look embarrassing.

I sort of agree......, but I think I would do it backwards.
Mild chicken with the spicy sauce. (may be the same, don't know). I just know that I enjoyed the mild sandwich much more than the spicy sandwich.

I don't understand it when I hear someone say this. Popeye's chicken sandwich had zero flavor or seasoning. I tried it 3 times. The chicken was not bigger than CFA's at all. The breading was thicker and the bun was huge. That was the difference.
It wasn't garbage. It was just plain.
