Barely 48 hours in. When Dubai and the UAE keep getting hit for a week or two and life becomes unstable the public sentiment could begin to turn.
Maybe.
But none of them have condemned the attacks, which is a groundbreaking development because they always have in past Israel actions.
As a matter of fact, the only countries to condemn the operation has been China, Russia, and Brazil. BRICS nations.

but make no mistake... there will not be, as you are thinking, "huge chunks" of the population converting to Christianity...
If 10% of the population becomes Christian, that's a huge chunk.
I predict that we'll see ISLAM go from 90-95% of the population to around 75-80%.
That would be a huge chunk leaving Islam.

Marco Rubio a few hours ago: "We knew that there was going to be an Israeli action. We knew that that would precipitate an attack against American forces, and we knew that if we didn't preemptively go after them before they launched those attacks, we would suffer higher casualties."
Interpretation: Israel just dragged our arse us into a war.
The "imminent threat" was Iran's projected response to being attacked first?
This is like claiming that you were being threatened because your "friend" was about to punch someone, and that person would inevitably defend themselves, which would endanger you.

well, 1st off, Islam is at 99%, not "90-95"... 2nd, i think you are dead wrong, but we can agree to disagree

First off: you can't willingly "drag" someone into a situation. If they are willing, then you invited them to join you.
Second: What is the deal with all of you anti-Israel people? Do y'all honestly believe that Israel can dictate to the United States what we are going to do or be allowed to do?
That's not how it works. We dictate what they are allowed to do. They inform us about their plans and we either let them get on with it or tell them "No."
Supporting Israel=/= being controlled by Israel.
This operation may have been thought up by Israel, but it was planned out in cooperation between the United States and Israel over months.

2020 data lists it as 90-95%. (I think this data takes into account Iranian refugees in other countries)
However, you can't really take any of those numbers as true because of the fact that it was illegal to not be Muslim under the Islamic Government.

when did i ever say i was "anti-Israel"?
or are you one of those that only sees things as binary choice and can't deal with nuance?

look man, i understand right now has to be a pretty weird spot for diehard Trump supporters, like you clearly are... i get it... this guy you've sworn your allegiance to is totally not doing what he said he'd do, and you are in this perpetual state of having to reframe your positions on things, b/c they change by the day...

Zoroastrians, Jews, and Christians are officially recognized and protected by the government... but do go on about the "illegality" of being anything other than Muslim....

By some measures, yes. The fact that AIPAC, and by extension, Israel, has over half of Congress by the short and curlies - hell, we have several dual citizens in Congress - would indicate that they at least have the most powerful intelligence capabilities.
Can you imagine if another country sunk an American ship and nothing were to come of it? If one of the worst cases of treasonous espionage was waived and the ratfrick who did it still gets to meet with American officials?

They are.
Converting to them from Islam was illegal.
quote:
Converting from Islam is illegal in Iran and is considered apostasy, a crime that can be punishable by death. While apostasy is not explicitly mentioned in Iran's codified law, judges can use uncodified Islamic sources and fatwas (religious rulings) to issue convictions and severe penalties.

Legal and Social Consequences
Punishment: The penalties for apostasy, especially for men born to Muslim parents, can include the death penalty. Women may face life imprisonment. In practice, converts are often charged with national security crimes, such as "acting against national security," "propaganda against the state," or "creating an illegal group (house church)," leading to long prison sentences and internal exile.

There are congregations of Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, and others in Iran.

It's pretty dumbfounding. I can't figure out why he'd go out of his way to say it, unless he was setting up a contingency narrative if Iran turns into a shite show.
Blame Israel. They were about to attack Iran anyway, and Iran would've hit back at us, so don't blame us.

According to the Iranian government.
I’m sure it’s still a huge majority, but 99% seems dubious.
