Oh I agree 100% that the current Iranian population doesn’t support the current regime. It’s such a young country that is very pro-western. People have been talking about Iranian revolution for a while.
I was reading about the crown prince earlier tonight. The kid (at the time) left Iran to come here and learn aerial combat before the rest of his family left for the US. He actually volunteered to fly for Iran in the way against Iraq and was denied. His younger brother killed himself due in part to the exile of their family. Their mother had to deal with burying both her husband and son due to the monsters who have now joined their former Iraqi enemy in hell.

Frankly Iranians need to decide what they want for their country. It will not go back to a strict monarchy but I think there could be an opening for a stabilizing constitutional monarchy. That shouldn't be pushed, especially if it leads to factions fighting themselves into a civil war over it.

No new wars?

This war started with sleepy Joe, October 7th, 2023.

None of this would be happening without the the horrible weak governance of the Democrats

This wasn't a debate. Despite your denial or inability to accept.

AND while it wasn't leftist - It's quite simply what the MOD's over there did. One of them got butt hurt, much like you seem to be. And if you like it so much over there ... then WTF are you here?

What’s crazy is that the Poli Board’s thread on Iran is less political than the OT Board’s thread

There's a reason for that.

Fox news reporting that the CIA learned of a high level meeting of Iran's leadership and passed that info to Israel. That is why so many Iranian leaders (40+) were killed in the initial strikes.

Also, in the past 3 months, Chia's supply of cheap oil has been hit. First Venezuela and now Iran. The president has grabbed Jinping by the nose and kicked him in the nuts...

That’s an interesting angle I had not considered.

With all the rumors of Taiwan War 2027, destroying China’s ability to obtain/stockpile oil could seriously thwart those plans

From what I’ve seen, they weren’t even in the top 5 of imports for China

The level of maneuvering Venezuela and now Iran and their impact on global geopolitics are simply over the heads of most of the simpletons arguing against it.

There are only a few catagories those against this outcome can fall in:

Vested in the China global superpower goals

Paid bots

Just plain fricking stupid.

There is no in between.

China was strangled economically with the trade deals and a lot of production being moved back to the West (partially a by product of CoVid).

With their exception of thier foothold in Canada (and that's coming), China's foothold in the western hemisphere was eliminated.

Now, their access to cheap oil has been eliminated with Venezuela and Iran.
