Biggest scam going on right now. EVs.

but maybe there’s no money in the maintenance.
Nobody is willing to pay it. Everyone gets all this influx of money up front to roll out these free programs but there is no sustainable revenue to maintain these initiatives so they fall apart after the original players get paid and move focus.

Charge at home people. Simple concept. If you need to travel more than 100 miles from home, get a second ICE car or rent one.
Stay home, but if you have to travel 90 minutes away buy a second vehicle. I mean, Americans are wealthier than ever and can EASILY purchase an extra car right now because the one being selected and incentivized by the government is inferior for anything beyond putting around town!
How about, and I know this is a wild concept, we let people choose the technology they want to use. If there is enough of a demand for charging stations, entrepreneurs will build them.
I’m going to ask a question I don’t know the answer to, but we’re gas stations subsidized?

Worked at McKinsey (probably most elite consulting firm on Earth)
The only thing McKinsey is good for is giving the CEO and Board of Directors air cover when they fire people. “We engaged McKinsey for a 3rd party strategic review of operations….blah blah”.
Basically you paid them millions of dollars to have a bunch of 25 year old consultants tell you to fire people, which is what you already wanted to do anyway.

Or, just a thought.. you shove the EV up your arse and I just buy a ICE for all of my daily and long distance needs.

Or just don’t get an electric car. Seems easier.

This is outrageous. How dare they inconvenience Secretary Butt Plug! Heads must roll over this!

That resume doesn't have many actual jobs on it. I don't trust too many people that have 'consulting' roles at 25.

So charging stations must be racist!

And yet none of his degrees or work history has anything to do with transportation. I don't care how many degrees you have. Cabinet members should have at least a background in the field they are being put in charge of. That goes for both parties.
